Trichorhina Tomentosa “Dwarf White”

Trichorhina tomentosa, commonly known as the “Dwarf White” Isopods, are small isopods native to Costa Rica. These extremely small, soft-bodied Isopods have a white coloration and a compact size, making them ideal for bioactive terrariums. Dwarf White isopods are parthenogenic and reproduce quickly making them a popular addition to any bioactive setup.  They establish quickly and exhibit burrowing behavior. As adept janitors, they help keep the vivarium clean by aiding in the breakdown of organic matter. Additionally, they can serve as a natural calcium boost when consumed. They are a low maintenance addition to any vivarium.
