We have been in animal husbandry for over 40 years. I was originally introduced to isopods when I began my dart frog collection almost 10 years ago. In that time I have managed to cultivate a wide selection of over 20 breeds of isopods. From clean up crew to exotic pet type isopods, we at Isopod Paradise have managed to acquire and breed quite a diverse selection.
captive bred
All of our isopods are from captive bred stock. You can rely on purchasing healthy clean up crew and pets from Isopod Paradise. We raise high quality specimens. We do not breed for quantity but for quality. There may be times when a specific breed may not be flourishing and we will not sell an animal that isn’t thriving.
Local Pickup and delivery
We are located in Escondido, CA. Currently we can provide local pickup and delivery for free within a 30 mile radius. We can meet you anywhere within the 30 mile radius. Outside of the 30 mile radius will be a delivery charge. We hope to provide shipping in the near future!

Armadillidium
Hearty species that can be very forgiving. They are very good group for first time keepers. Great clean up crew, feeders and pets
Cubaris
More tempermental species. This species needs a little more attention to care and feeding. Predominantly used as pets.
Porcellio and others
We currently have a variety of other species including Porcellio, Porcellionides and Dwarfs.
