Armadillidium vulgare “American Magic Potion”

Armadillidium vulgare “American Magic Potion” magic potions are an all white animal sprinkled with yellow and black dots. The “American” line of magic potion gets slightly larger than the Japanese variety, and has larger, more frequent dots.  They establish moderately in a vivarium and will be a great clean up crew once established.  They are native to North America.  Their hard, calcified exoskeleton provides a great source of calcium for your larger reptile, amphibians and invertebrates, but not poison dart frogs.  However, isopod enthusiasts tend to not keep these with predators, but more as a pet because of their unique coloring.
